If you (or someone you know) wants to experience the exciting world of wind and water sports then the Scottish Windfest offers the perfect opportunity to try not just one, but FOUR different adrenaline-packed activities!

We’ve teamed up with some of Scotland’s leading training providers, to bring you a truly unrivalled programme of short taster sessions running throughout the windfest! Each session lasts between 30 and 60 minutes (depending on the sport) and includes all kit and equipment necessary as well as expert instruction from qualified instructors.

Which Sports?

• Windsurfing
• Kite flying (a precursor to kite surfing and other kite sports)
• Stand-up Paddling
• Blo-Karting

Sessions will cost between £5-£7 per person, with the fee payable direct to the providers. Our friends from RYA Scotland will be providing a central booking area to enable you to check availability and plan your day of exciting wind and water sports!

Synergy Kitesports

Synergy Kitesports are an International Kiteboarding Organisation (IKO) affiliated Powerkite and Kitesurf centre based in Fraserburgh on the North East corner of Aberdeenshire.

Synergy Kitesports have been providing taster sessions, training courses and advanced coaching in Powerkiting, Kite Buggying, Kite Landboarding, Snowkiting and Kitesurfing since 2005.

In addition Synergy Kitesports retail products from many top kitesports brands and also organise trips and events.

The Adventure Centre for Education (ACE)

The Adventure Centre for Education (ACE) is a Girvan based charity that provides adventure sports and environmental education across Ayrshire. We are very excited to be part of the Scottish Windfest. This is a chance for ACE to showcase the great activities we have on offer here in Ayrshire. During the Scottish Windfest we will provide access to our fleet of Stand up Paddleboards (SUP’s). This is a growing sport in the UK whose roots globally stretch back many decades. So why not come and have a go, we can’t guarantee you won’t get wet but you’ll certainly have fun! If that doesn’t float your boat come and chat with any of our team and find out what ACE has to offer.

Please note that camping & party passes are also available to anyone booking at least one session and cost £15 per person.
